It's been a loooonnngggg time man! Ok see how this goes from here....

"cell tiger" @ war remnant museum - vietnam

to those who wonder what this picture is all about, this is the dummy cell prisoner locked inside the "tiger cages", a special cells in con dao jail, vietnam during the vietnam war back in 1970s (i guess so) that reminds me that i need to do a lot of reading on the war. so, by all means, tell me which book to start.

i went to visit ho chin minh city last month (july) and this is one of the places i went, the war remnant museum, which is 5-minutes walk from where i stayed.

according to my tour guide, this cell used to keep up to 14 prisoners to the most at one time and they would be poked and yelled at by the heartless cell guard. how cruel could that be. war is cruel anyway.

this museum has many stories to share and many bad memories people would want to forget. from the moment you set your foot in, the images of cruelty, brutality and meanness would tear your heart apart and you would refuse you to continue the whole journey but i did it.

i'm not good at history and i'll try to read about the war as much as possible

oh gosh i never realized that i've been having this account for ages. writing has never been my cup of tea. i've been photoblogging though and you can find me here and here.
